Game 117. Yanks’ offense asleep again in 4-1 loss.

The Yankees ended their series against the Indians with a 4-1 loss Sunday. This after a 3-0 loss on Saturday.

Only a Jacoby Ellsbury HR (10) in the bottom of the 9th kept them from being shut out again. Ellsbury’s 52nd RBI tied Teixeira for the team lead.

Hiroki Kuroda (L, 7-8, 4.03) went 4 2/3, 3 R, 5 H, 4 walks and 3 K.
David Huff 1 2/3, 1 R, 1 h, 1 walk and 0 K. Overall ERA SF/NYY 3.99.
Shawn Kelley 2/3 IP, 0 R, 1 H, 0 walks and 2 K. 4.10.
Bryan Mitchell 2 IP, 0 R, 0 H, 1 walk and 2 K. 0.00.

For Mitchell, it was his MLB debut.

The loss drops the Yanks to 61-56 on the season.
