The Minors (and a quick Yankee report).

One note on the big boys before I get into the minor league report. The Orioles lost last night while the Yanks were off, which means the Yanks are tied for first with Baltimore. The Yanks have a big weekend series with the Tampa Bay Rays this weekend.

AL East Standings:

Ok, on to the minor league report.

AAA: SWB won 14-2. 2 R in 5 IP for Luis Severino. He is now 4-0, 1.96 for AAA after going 2-2, 3.32 at AA. The 21 year old has an overall record of 6-2, 2.61 in 15 starts this season. For his minor league career, he is 20-11, 2.33.

OF Ben Gamel, grand slam. DH Kyle Roller 3 hits, 3 rbi. 3B Cole Figueroa 3 h, 2 rbi. 1B Rob Segedin 2h, HR, 2 RBI. 17 hits for the Railriders, and every starter got at least one.

AA: 11-3 win for Trenton. A scoreless inning for Andrew Bailey as he continues his comeback. 3B Jose Rosario 3 for 3, 4 rbi. HR for 1B Greg Bird. SS Ali Castillo 2 h, 2 rbi. 3 hits for LF Danny Oh.

High A: Tampa won 4-1. Chaz Hebert 1 R, 7 IP. C Wes Wilson 2 hits, HR, 2 RBI.

A: Charleston lost 4-1. Matt Wotherspoon 1 R in 7 IP. DH Jorge Mateo and 1B Chris Breen each had two hits.
