Game 154. Yanks edge Chisox 2-1

Moving someone from the rotation to the bullpen (because of Nova coming back) and then back into the rotation (Eovaldi injury) is not easy but Adam Warren was great today.

In the first four batters of the game, Warren gave up a run and three hits. The White Sox picked up NO hits thereafter.

Still, the Yanks offense struggled, until in the sixth, Ellsbury singled and back to back doubles by Headley and A-Rod put the Yanks up 2-1. The three-headed monster of Wilson-Betances and Miller took it from there.

The win put the Yanks at 85-69 with eight games left. The magic # for both clinching a playoff spot and that WC #1 is four.

The Division? Damned near impossible. 4 back with 8 to go.

After that, the wild card #1 seems like where they will be.

Warren (W, 7-7, 3.37_ 6 IP, 1 R, 3 h, 3 walks and 4 K.
Wilson 1 IP, 0 R, 0 H, 0 walks and 2 K. 3.10
Betances 1 IP, 0 R, 0 H, 0 walks, 0 K. 1.36
Miller (36th save) 1 IP, 0 R, 0 H. 0 walks, 2 K, 1.97.
