Carlos Beltran continued his hot hitting with a key 2-run double in a five-run fifth as the Yanks beat the Angels 6-3 Thursday night.

By sweeping the Angels four straight, the Yanks are back at .500 at 30-30.

Chris Parmalee had to be carried off the field late in the game with a hamstring injury after making a stretch at first.

Ivan Nova was solid for six innings before giving up a two-run HR in the seventh.

Nova gave up a run in the first, but the Yanks got their five in the fifth on an RBI single by Parmalee, 2-run double by Beltran, SF by A-Rod and rbi double by McCann.

After that 2-run HR cut it to 5-3, A-Rod got an RBI double in the seventh for the final tally of 6-3.

Brett Gardner got 3 hits to up his average to .261. He was at .211 not too long ago.
