The AL won the All-Star Game 4-2 and will have home field advantage for this year’s World Series. Eric Hosmer of KC was the MVP, with 2 hits, a solo HR, and 2 RBI. His teammate Salvador Perez hit a 2-run HR.

Carlos Beltran of the Yanks was 0-1, flying out to CF.

Dellin Betances pitched the seventh, 1 IP, 0 R, 1 H, 0 walks, 2 K, 1 WP.

Andrew Miller pitched the eighth, and struggled. He was bailed out with two out and the bases loaded.
2/3 IP, 0 R, 2 H, 1 walk, 1 K.

The Yanks’ AAA, AA and High A affiliates were all off.
