Game 122. Baby Bombers lead Yanks to 5-1 win.

Luis Cessa pitched six shutout innings in his first MLB start, Gary Sanchez homered (6) and Aaron Judge drove in two runs as the Yanks beat the Angels 5-1 Saturday night.

Sanchez started the scoring with a two-out homer in the first. After his homer, Didi Gregorius singled, Starlin Castro doubled, and Brian McCann singled in two runs.

In the sixth, with two out, Castro and McCann singled, Castro going to third on McCann’s single. McCann stole second, his first SB since 2012, and Judge singled in both runners.

Dellin Betances gave up a HR to Albert Pujols in the bottom of the ninth. It was Pujols’ 583rd HR of his career, tying him with Mark McGwire for 10th place on the all-time HR list.

Brett Gardner robbed C.J. Cron of a two-run HR in the seventh inning.
