Minor League Report. Cabrera, Vidal, star for Low A Charleston.

Justus Sheffield will be a Yankees representative in the Futures game next week.

As far as the festivities in our nation’s capital, where the All-Star Game will be (and I believe, first time since 1969?) I’d like to see something just for fun.

The HR derby, meh. But that Presidents race? That is funny.

Why not combine the two? Bring a temporary fence in, about 250 feet from the plate, and let those characters (Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, T.R., and Taft) swing, in costume, to see which President wins the HR derby! Wouldn’t that be funny and entertaining?

Now for the minor league report.
