Looking at Volpe & Peraza, the Yanks are going to have an interesting long-term decision to make at SS. Right now, they have Torres, who is better at 2B than at SS. But what then about LeMahieu? If you move LeMahieu to 1B, what then about Rizzo (free agent at end of year, hope Yanks keep) or Voit? I didn’t even get to Odor. There is a great free agent class of SS, headed by Corey Seager (a lefty hitter who’d fit in fine at Yankee Stadium) this year. Do the Yanks go after Seager, move Torres (sparking the domino effect mentioned) and if so, what do they do with Peraza and Volpe? Things will get very interesting with that SS position.
